Steve Lang is a musician, songwriter, producer, and recording artist whose career has spanned Canada, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the United States. Beginning with local bands and guitar session work, he later expanded into songwriting, music production, recording, mixing, and artist development while building long-term collaborations with musicians around the world.
Throughout his career, Steve has produced and worked on recordings with independent artists, bands, and record labels in Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Canada, and the United States. His experience covers a wide range of musical styles, from rock and punk to instrumental guitar music and contemporary pop productions.
In addition to his work behind the scenes as a producer and engineer, Steve has released an extensive catalog of solo instrumental albums that showcase his melodic guitar style and diverse musical influences. His original compositions have also been published internationally, and he continues to write and record new material while collaborating with artists across Asia and beyond.
One of his most notable projects was producing a charity guitar compilation for World Vision, bringing together more than twenty internationally recognized guitarists to support humanitarian awareness. The project featured performances by artists including Steve Lukather, Nuno Bettencourt, Robert Fripp, Stevie Salas, Alice Stuart, and many others.
Today, Steve continues to balance his work as a recording artist, producer, songwriter, and live performer while developing new collaborations, recording projects, and international music initiatives through JRok Music and JRok Studios.
